Sidney Sinclair the Headmaster of the school is waiting for a student who ended up being a little late to catch up with the rest, they wait outside the skull of the dragon that marks the entrance to the School itself.
The school itself appears to be three four stories high. This is not the main canvous the school but the special magics building. It houses the classroom used by the magic professors and the dorms for the Magi students.
There is a large apple tree outside with the most beautiful apples on it.

Richard soon found themselves wandering up to the entrance of the school. They had with them their backpack of general items, books, and the like needed for actual academia as much as for magical nonsense. When they approached the dragon's skull, the most noticeable feature about their expression was Richard's jaded glazed eyes as they peered over the otherwise spectacular scenery. This was a young man that, for whatever reason, did not immediately light up with wonder at the miraculous.
"Um...am I late...?", the youth asked, almost casually. Perhaps trying to put on an air of assurance. Or perhaps they just felt a bit dead inside anyway, and their tone of disinterest was less a jab at the scool than manifestation of a lack of interest in...anything?

"You are later than the other students but in my mind here precisely when I need you to be." They will smile. "I am headmaster Sidney Sinclair, my pronouns are They/Them. I am happy to show you around and help get you settled so you can start to learn more about your magics." They will motion to a large apple tree up front. "This is the tree where Merlin is said to be sealed."

Richard gave a skeptical look at the mention that the tree was the one said to be where Merlin was sealed.
"Oh, really?", he posed, absently, not really believing that. A nice little feature of a university for magic, certainly. No doubt it got many young academics interested, and brought the Uni some tourist traction. How...convenient.
"Well, more importantly, I'd like to get to know the layout. And see where I will be staying, if that's quite alright by you?"

"Certainly would you like another student to show you around?" They will ask and move inside the school, the area right inside has numerous tables and chair, a piano at the end near a hallways. "This is the foyer. You can get to the dorms by going either way down the hall. To the left is the library, and to the right is the student recreation area."
