Claire smiled upon seeing her room she immediately set her luggage down on the bed and began to pull out various small potted plants from their carefully wrapped packaging and placing them all over her window sill.

With earbuds in Amber walks into the room carrying her bag and her suitcase. She waves and drops the suitcase in the middle of the room. "Hiii! Hello future roomie!" She calls out excitedly. She pulls her ear buds out and closes the distance, smiling from ear to ear all the while. "It is so good to see you, hello I'm Amber! Who are you?"

Claire smiles back "Hey I'm Claire, it's nice to meet you." She extends her hand which is covered in dirt. "I'm just getting set up over here but the majority of my stuff I plan on purchasing tomorrow. I don't know if you heard but apparently there's been talk on the group chat about heading into town after class."

"I haven't accessed the group chat as of yet, but this is a good thing. I desperately need my treadmill. My mom sent it after me and according to her it should be overseas already." She shakes her hand and then rubs her hands to rub the dirt off.
"I planned to look into the chat when I am set up." She says before turning to her suitcase. She opens it and a bag tumbles out with heavy clunking and drops to the floor, leaving a dent in the pvc. "Jiminy Christmas, dang nabbit." She 'curses' and picks the bag up. She opens it and pulls a couple of dumbbells out and puts them on her desk.

Claire raises her eyes at the weights. "You know there's like a gym right? With a weight room? At least I'm pretty sure there is. Also" she gestures vaguely around the room "where are you gonna fit a treadmill?"

She promptly pulls her desk aside to make space. "There!" She smiles. "It's going to be there! And I can use these when I do homework." She answers. "I have done that sometimes, writing an essay with one hand and training my biceps with the other arm."
the next thing she unpacks is a small zylindrical robot with a knife sticker taped on top. She places the roomba in the corner in the loading station. Then she falls on her bed. "I'm so excited!"

Claire smiles and turns back to continue setting up her plants. "yeah it should be fun. I'm not really looking forward to the homework though." She paused and steps back to look at her plants before turning back to her suitcase and grabbing out a planters box of fungi and stowing it under her bed. "So where are you from? You've got an accent I don't recognize."

"I'm from chicago. I came off the plane a few hours ago, got ushered into a car and then got here." She explains. "Where do you come from? And let me guess, your powers are plant based?"

"I'm from Ireland but for the past year and a half I've lived in Rome. I've never been to America is it nice?" she chuckles "yeah, what gave it away?"

"That is actually a good question. America is very diverse and you barely can pull any similarities between states, let alone cities. Chicago is alright. America is beautiful if we are talking landscape. Definitely worth checking out. Just stay away from Cali."

"You mean California? I always heard that Florida was worse with all the alligators and stuff. Still I'd like to visit one day, do the touristy stuff y'know, grand canyon, Yellowstone and the redwood forests."

"Oh yes they are beautiful, if they would manage to extinguish them." She answers. She has gotten up and grabbed her dumbbells and lifts a little. Her muscles flex in her thin arms and from the way the arm forms it becomes clear that she is not weak at all. Her arms are toned in a way that is not visible on first glance.
"Florida is mostly the damn heat. And the super rich people. Actually you're right, fuck florida as well." She says laughing.

Claire laughs at that. She casts a surreptitious glance at Amber as she works out then returns to her plants. after a moment spent rearranging a few of them she pulls out a large grow light and turns it on, once more ensuring that all her plants are under it. She places her finger in the soil of a plant after a moment nods and continues the process. After checking all her plants Claire grins and flops onto her bed dislodging her hood and revealing her antlers as well as long flowing blonde hair interspersed with leaves. "I'm so excited for class."
