The Headmaster is going to meet all the students outside the school. There is a giant dragon skull that the front hall of the school is built into. "This ritual was orignally performed by Merlin of House Merinita when he opened this school. Oginally it was the Dragon's Skull and a set of standing stone but over the generations it has become this building here."
They motion to the school dramatically. "Today we embark on the path of knowledge and walk the steps that many have walked before. The Mighty Apple Tree that stand outside the school is said to be the prison of Merlin himself."
They will give each student a robe in their seasonal colour and a madalion with the school's emblem on it. They will lead the students in a walk three times around the tree then away to behind the school there is an old set of cellar doors which the headmaster opens and walks down.
at the back of the Cellar is a stone arch way and steps that lead down to a lake and what looks like an endless cavern. The Headmaster will raise their hands and a mighty dragon will rise from the depths. It's a huge thing almost too big for the lake.
The Dragon will look around. "I acknowledge these student. I give them a Guardian to Protect and keep them and I name her Hazel."
