Elfreda steps off almost tripping on something but only just manages to catch her balance. She has some minor cracks that she still hasn't bothered to fix yet. She is wearing very loose black clothing with a hoodie that's seems to be a bit too big for her, and oval shaped sunglasses. She is currently wandering around looking and feeling lost

Among the group of students is one Dragos Lupu, from Eastern Europe (Romania to be specific). His disheveled, short blue hair marks someone who isn't overly concerned with his appearance. He carries his luggage almost as if he has some delicate materials in the suitcase. He's especially careful so as not to bump into others. Anyone who gets too close is met with him quietly, but urgently insisting "Be careful! There are things inside my luggage that can't be broken!" His accent is noticeable, but light enough that he's had plenty of practice with English.
He sees the other arrival wandering around almost aimlessly, but more so he notices the visible cracks. With almost complete disregard for his luggage now, as he carries it, he approaches the woman, looking her over. "Are those...cracks in your skin?"

Evan ambles through the train station - it might not be a huge place, but it's a bit crowded at the moment with everyone getting on or off the passenger train. He's coming from one of the office's windows, a handful of boxes stacked in his arms that partly obscures his vision; enough that he can't quite see where he's going, at least not completely. He does his best not to collide with anyone, murmuring polite apologies as he dodges between people.
He's an exceedingly average young man - not particularly tall or athletic or striking in any way, his hair mostly straight and a slightly darker brown than his eyes. He's wearing a school uniform but doesn't seem to be here to meet anyone, just pick up some packages.
(I kinda want him to bump into one of ya's, but don't want to cause too much damage (no blowing up the train station first day!) so if you're willing to have him bump into you, post it! First come, first serve - he can only bump into one person before he stops and is all apologetic for being a clumsy fool.)

"Fascinating." He says quietly, still carefully examining Eflreda. "Why is it that you have cracks in your skin? I understand lack of moister can cause severe dry skin, however...this seems a little bit severe for that."
While he's distracted with that, he doesn't notice Evan moving in closer and fails to guard his suitcase as well. When Evan does bump into him and he drops his suitcase, something inside it seems to squirm. There's also a snarl.
"Uh oh!" Dragos quickly picks up the suitcase and pats the squirming lump lightly. "It's okay..."

Lavender is going to get off of the train she was waiting for most of the people to be off before she left. Her bad is a pastel purple with pink petals on it. She is going to notice what seems to be other students gathering. She is dressed in frizzle and so many petticoats.
She notices the other students and will stand back observing them for now trying to determine a good time to actually talk to them.

"I uh, I'm a homunculus so I don't actually have skin per say" it seems like she was about to say something else just as Evan bumps into Dragos but instead ends up being surprised by that and just looks between the two of them confused

Trains, Rem decides as he makes his way off, are not for him. Too cramped. And what's the point of going that fast if you can't enjoy the rush of it?
He moves off to the side and lifts of the small terrarium he's carrying to eye level. He's been checking it obsessively all trip, but his worries about the train appeared to be for nothing. Everything appears fine within. All five lion ants are up on the surface, feet up against the glass as they survey their new surroundings. And none of their burrows appear damaged. All good. He supposes that was a point in favor for the trains.
Lowering the terrarium and looking around, he sees a small group of people his age beginning to mingle together. The others for Taliesin? Worth inquiring. So he makes his way over.

Evan's startled that he walks into someone - startled enough that the top packages slide off the one he's holding directly and tumble to the ground, causing a few glares and grumbles from older passers-by who are trying to get where they're going and don't appreciate some foolish kid dropping stuff in their path.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Evan exclaims as he realizes he has collided with a person, not just a bench or other inanimate obstacle. He looks partly alarmed, partly confused and starts to ask, "did that bag..." just growl? - but thinks better of it before he speaks the last two words aloud.
He catches what Elfreda said - but it wasn't addressed to him, so rather than be rude he simply looks back and forth between Dragos and Elfreda once, then gives them an apologetic but genuinely friendly smile.
"Coming for the new semester at Taliesin?" he asks as he's crouched down and gathering his boxes again.

Continuing to pat the squirming lump in his luggage, Dragos looks to Evan a moment, clears his throat and says "It is...one of those, uhm...how do you say...motorized stuffed animals?"
Hoping that explanation is sufficient, he looks to Elfreda again and says "A what now? A homonculus? That's outstanding! We must meet for lunch some time!"

"I've never met a homunculus before. Hi, I'm Lavander." She will give a little wave from where she is standing.
She will not politely to Rem as he joins them.
"I know I am," she says in response to Evan.
"Stuffed animal?" She asks curiously.

Elfreda is a bit overwhelmed meeting this many people all at once but is able to somehow stay calm and looks to Evan "Yes, I am" she then turns towards Dragos and says "thank you, that sounds nice" she also waves back to Lavender

Rem nods back to Lavender as he stands at the edge of the group. He had heard Taliesin mentioned, so at least he was getting closer to being in the right place. Hopefully someone here knew what they were supposed to do next.

Evan snickers quietly and looks a bit skeptical at Dragos's reply to the half-question, but he lifts a placating hand for a moment, still crouched to pick up his parcels.
"Don't worry, everyone knows the school has magic classes. I don't know what's allowed to be kept in the dorms, but..." his tone grows conspiratorial as he adds, "I can honestly say I didn't see anything, right?"
Holding the stack of boxes steady - they seem more "bulky" than "heavy", even from the way they landed - Evan stands up, giving Elfreda a slightly unsure smile, saying, "uh, that's cool." He tries not to stare at any visible cracks, and notices how uncomfortable she seems to be so he takes a half-step back to give her more room, but he asks, "did you need a hand with anything?"
He glances at Lavender as she comes up and gives her a smile and a nod and a "Hello." Noticing Rem, Evan blinks and realizes that a crowd seems to be gathering (he's smart like that.)
"Actually, do any of you need any help?" he asks, giving them all a friendly smile. "I'm Evan Owen, I'm attending Taliesin too, just regular classes and I'm local, so I'm not in the dorms. I can give directions, though, or give someone a hand with their stuff."

Post by Victoria Corbyn on Sept 20, 2020 19:49:13 GMT
Victoria is amongst a group of people stepping off of another train at another platform not far away. This train was inbound to the city, and most of the people coming off are individuals in suits dragging wheeled suitcases and luggage with laptop carry-ons slung over their shoulders, or families trying to make sure their younger children all stay together and not get lost.
What makes her stand out is that she is the only one who didn't have an immediate "on a mission" look to them knowing exactly where they were going off to. Victoria stepped off cautiously, lifting her rolling suitcase to the platform itself while struggling to keep her shoulder-bag in place for a moment, trying to step to the side so she doesn't hold up the line of people behind her in a rush to get out and go about their day. Once to the side of the train's exit she gets her bag situated and the handle out for her suitcase, and fishes a piece of paper out of her pocket to unfold and re-read to help her get her bearings.
She's dressed in bootcut jeans that look a little loved-in around the back hem at the ankle, and a fading but well cared-for brownish orange autumn coat that buttoned up the front. What look like sleeves to a knitted top bunch out at her wrist cuffs, and she wears brown faux-suede finish boots for the trip. Her brown hair is in a bit of a twist behind her head, with the ends hanging behind her shoulder and out of the way though a few stray locks have escaped and fall to frame her face.
Once she is out of the way of the people and situated with her luggage, she begins reviewing the papers she too out of her pocket, and then begins walking down the platform in the general direction of where students are gathering as she looks at signage to find her way.

Tilissa sighed as she hopped off the train with a seabag slung over her shoulder and pulling a large roller bag behind her. Padding along behind seems to be some kind of sandy colored.. Dog..? Wolf..?
She huffs and flips sandy blond colored hair from her face, "I told you that you wouldnt be able to lift the bag. And now we are late. Happy..?" She sighed and looked around adjusting a patterned red shawl around her shoulders, "Maybe should have gotten out something heavier. Forgot how cold it gets this time of the year.." She pauses as the... canine, brushes against her leg and points to the group, "oh... Well. Ok. Not late. You still werent able to carry either bag... Come on, lets go.."
She made her way towards the group looking them over. She stands tall and a bit lanky dressed a bit lightly for the season, "Excuse me? Are all of you bound for Taliesin Academy? Or do you know where you meet the transports..?"

Dragos nods enthusiastically to Evan's response "Right!" In response to Evan's other question, he says "I think have it figured out alright, just need to find the proper transports."
He sees a couple more students step off the train, first being Victoria. Seeing that she looks lost, maybe even confused, he waves over at her with a smile that's not unsettling at all (/s)!
Likewise, he waves at Tilisa. However when he sees her animal companion, while his smile doesn't fade, he does seem a bit more...nervous. He positions his suitcase carefully so that he is between it and her animal companion.

Lavander will flash a smile to Elfreda as she waves back.
"Oh, so you're a normal student Evan? I think you are supposed to take the bus but maybe we can talk them into letting you take a limo with us?" She will give a bright smile when she smiles at him Evan will get a flash of a dark room that seems to be filling up with something sticky and dark but it's gone right away.
Lavender is going to wave a little at Victoria as she passes by.
"I am going to the Academy. I'm Lavander. I think the limos will be at the North Entrance."
"I guess we should get going." She will head towards the North Entrance.

Rem steps back and motions for the others to go first. Half out of politeness, half because it's easier to watch and study when you're behind people. It's his first time around such a large group and a wariness has set in.
He does eye the canine, though. He wonders if he'll be able to understand it or if it's a magical construct. He seen enough of those come through the Sanctuary that he knows better than to assume.

"Owtch," Evan says with a self-deprecating laugh at Elfreda's question, eyeing his packages ruefully. "Ok, point for you," he adds to her - she seems to be relaxing a bit despite the crowd so he turns his glance to Lavender when she speaks.
"Ok, north entrance is that way," Evan says for the benefit of the directionally challenged as he points it out, adding, "Oh, I don't need a ride. Just figured I'd ask if anyone needed a hand, given I've already caused one person some trouble," he adds with a grin over at Dragos.

Victoria catches Lavender's wave as she wanders and catches her bearings. She offers a bit of a shy smile, and then a moment of recognition as she catches reference to limos at the North Entrance. She stops in her tracks, glances back to her page, then folds it up to put away as she approaches the group that is preparing to depart for said entrance.
"Excuse me, are you all waiting for transport to Taliesin Academy also?" she asks, trying to not interrupt but also not wanting to walk right past a group of people she was coincidentally needing to connect up with.

Tilissa nods as she makes her way over, "Oh good! I was afraid I had missed it.. He though he could carry my bag." She gestures to the canine, who upon closer inspection isnt quite, he has that angular tone of a wolf, though its lessened... By the fact he is a large plush coyote, a fairly realistic looking one, but fluff and fabric none the less. Glass eyes look to the group as if proclaiming "Could to," as it settles next to her.
"I'm Tilissa Tangley, and this is Mr. Woofs," she motions to the plush toy, "... I was like, three. Cut me a break." She nods at the suggestion of making their way to the enterance and readjusts her seabag on her shoulder and slips her foot under "Mr. Woofs" and gives him a flick into the air catching him under her arm, plush legs kicking about in protest, "You are sticking with me. I am not getting in a fight with another spoiled toddler because you wanted to hunt dust bunnies..."

Dragos eyes Mr. Woofs a moment, but the reveal of his true nature causes him to relax a little bit. He just chuckles and nods to Evan before he starts for the area where the limos will pick them up. He stays much quieter for now, curiously and methodically looking all the other students over. His mannerisms are rather curious, but nothing to raise alarm...for now at least.

"Don't normal kids take a bus. Come on try a limo!" She says with a laugh to Evan.
She will look to Victoria, "Oh the cars willbe meeting us a the Northern Entrance."
"Ah! Dogs hate me." Lavander says and moves away from Woof. "It's not their fault I am a werewolf."
