The students investigating the mangler are going to be meeting in the library, anyone who wants to join this story line can jump in here now and be part of it. If you want to be involved assume you heard about the meeting from a fellow student. ANYONE can join.
The Library is a massive set of room on many levels. The group is meeting on one of the upper levels in a library lounge area.

Ezra is sitting on the floor, pretzeled up in some sort of dance stretch as they read and wait for everyone else to arrive.

Lavender is going to arrive with some notebooks and her laptop in toe. She has on her school uniform and a sweater that is blue and covered in clouds, the sweater buttons up the front. "Hi Ezra."

The spectral face of Willow surfaces through the floor in front of Ezra. Her slightly transparent features glowing white through long tendrils of black hair, covering all but one eye. "Hello."

With his curiosity getting the better of him, Dragos makes his way to the library. He has a large bandage over his cheek, which he hopes his explanation will work to dispel any further inquiries. In truth, the honey badger "familiar" he brought with him was still rather grouchy...as honey badgers are. Dragos seems to be taking it in stride though. For now, he's focused on the subject of the meeting in the library.

A small half grown grey and silver cat hops up on the table and sits attentively.
Most people know by now this is Ash's cat form.

Tod has heard about the mangler. He's heard folks are looking into it. He may be a complete n00b and neophyte to this world, but he figures knowing more is good either way. If he can help, all the better. Even if his magical powers are...well, he doesn't know if they're strong or weak yet! Either way, his Research Fu is strong, and he can help that way.
So, of course, he stands outside the door for fifteen minutes debating whether he should go in. He eventually does.
His approach is "act like you belong". He doesn't. It shows. But he's willing to try.
He sits down next to the cat and leans over to murmur, "I'm going to look like a real jackass if I can't figure out some way to be useful here." while scritching said cat. Of course he has no idea if this is Ash, some familiar, or an actual cat. He also doesn't care because it feels normal, and that's good enough for now.

Ezra is oddly reassured by the obviously out of place young man. It's always nice to not be the only one who obviously doesn't fit in. They smile at him a little. Hopefully he knows that's Ash he's petting.
