Saturday: October the 31st. The school is getting together in a massive field to celebrate, there are rows of tables and massive bonfires to fend off the cold. There are teachers on site to make sure no one gets burned and likely a little magic to aid in such things.
There is one table set aside for the dead with the feast on it. The meals are set up to be from Harvest celebrations and old fashioned Jacko lanterns made of turnips sit on the tables.
The students are going to be given a little bit of time to settle in before the head master speaks.

Tod shows up on the scene, looking a bit out of sorts, but finding somewhere he can settle down not in the thick of things, but not so far out that he's going to look antisocial. He's wearing the official Generic Autumnal Outfit of jeans and a hoodie and watching the festivities with the wide-eyed look of an obvious new arrival.

Ash quietly shows up, moving to join those already there. The young man with feline features is normally a jeans and tee shirt type, but for this he is in a plain long sleeve black shirt and matching pants, as well as a long light weight coat with a hood. The black coat with it's silver accents almost matches his fur, and hangs a little loose, allowing freedom of movement, while being split up the back to his waist, letting his tail free. For once the barefoot young man doesn't head straight for food, but waits to see exactly what is happening.

Lauren is going to find a place to seat himself happily. He's dressed in somber colours. He has left his leather jacket behind and is currently wearing a black dress jacket. On the lapel is a small pin of a ghost. He will wave to Ash, and then look to Tod and choose to sit beside the new guy.

Tod looks over to the guy sitting beside him and gives a friendly smile and a nod in greeting. "Hi," he says, his accent very much from the other side of the Atlantic. He looks around again, then to Lauren. "Uh...so...what's happening with all this?" he asks.

Tod smiles and shakes her hand, nodding. "About as new as I can be without still having jet lag," he agrees. "I'm Tod. Nice to meet you, Paige." Now he can't help but notice the cat-like other student once Paige waves to him. He can't help the double-take, but he quickly turns his attention back to the two who have joined him. "How long have you both been here?" he asks.

Ezra slips in and finds a seat near Law. They're still a little nervous about socializing, so they simply wave to the students already there.

A ghostly hand passes through Lauren's chest, sending a sharp chill up his spine. Behind him is Willow in a striped pumpkin shirt and red flannel and jeans, wiggling her fingers playfully. "Deedle leedle deet!"
She removes her hand from him and giggles. "Heyyyyy Law! I thought I'd find you around here somewhere."

And yet again, Tod jumps, startled by the hand coming out of Lauren's chest before looking back to see Willow and giving an embarrassed and slightly nervous wave and "hello". After a couple breaths, he looks around before joking, "I feel like I should start a betting pool on how many times I damn near jump out of my skin in my first month here. I'd make a fortune."

Ash heads toward the others, the pretty long black coat would probably look impressive, if it wasn't being worn by a 5 foot tall cute cat person.
He grins at them, razor sharp teeth gleaming.
"Yay, feast?"
