Tod’s background is pretty unremarkable. His mother was from Wales, father was from Ireland. They met at college in the US and stayed there to raise a family. Tod was finishing high school when his magical talents first appeared. After speaking with his family, they decided that it would be a good life experience for him to attend the school in his mother’s home city of Cardiff.
