Lavender is going to head out from the school building with Paige. She ha on a rainbow jacket in near pastel colours, over a grey shirt with pink love hearts making up the fluff of dandelions that seem to be being blown away by the wind. She has jeans on which are blue and purple pastel and a pair of sneakers with pearls stuck to the outside of them.
She has a small backpack made of pink clear plastic with roses on it. "It's nice to head into town. Do you think things are actually dangerous?"

Paige would smile at Lavender's eclectic style. "Love it, Lav." She herself was wearing a brown turtleneck with a lighter brown cardigan, and brown trousers with a tan and light blue lines. She hiked up her black purse higher onto her shoulder and tucked a platinum piece of bang behind her ear before matching Lavender's stride in her black wedge closed heels. "In what capacity? The Mangler?" She'd ask, ruffling her bangs so they fell just so into place. She will look down at her outfit before laughing a little. "Thank you, you look great too." She will smile at that. "If I need to scream fire I will." She is going to walk along with Paige, "What do you think it is... like an almost cereal killer."

She'd be quiet for a moment. "Professor Elroy is looking into it for a friend that works? or worked? for the church. The fact that Elroy and this guy is looking into gives me the willies; tells me there's a magical component to it."

She'd skip a couple steps, just excited to be going out on the town with a girl friend. "Copious amounts of sweet things and a hunt for Hallowe'en costumes - oh." Chewing her lower lip in contemplation. "Do you think it would be too cliché to go as a witch?"

"Well, I'm going to do it." She says with a firm nod not at all tinged with nervousness. "This is the first time I've picked my own costume." She admitted honestly. "Plus Ambrose is going to accompany me so I want to look nice for him."

"That is my hopes, too - but since we're not of the age to get completely intoxicated so we'll have to get high on sugar, instead. It'll be an ensemble costume, for sure, but he's going to surprise me after with another costume. At least, that was what was implied. Have you and Grace talked about going as a couple?" Gently prying.
She'd look to her phone to see how close they were coming to the costume shop, and basically it was around the corner. Paige quickened her pace in anticipation.

"Well I am hoping if they do a party thing they will do it on Friday, if not I won;t be able to go so I don't want Grace to be stuck without me." She is going to smile a little. "I wanted to help you out to make everyone happy. Also I didn't want you to be by yourself."

"Professor Carbrey did mention that were was going to be a ceremony on Saturday but mention it to Law and he may change the date of the party to Friday, if it's not already planned for that. I'm sorry." She'd say, trying to give Lavender's hand a quick squeeze in apology. "I didn't put that into consideration until now." She'd smile appreciatively. "Thank you, Lavender. You're a good friend."

Lavender is going to smile and nod before heading inside. She will look around as she enters. "I wonder if Grace would go as a Witch with me." She says looking around for some of the darker dresses.

"You can pull out your phone and ask; I don't mind." She'd have to stop herself from slapping herself on the forehead. "Duh, a group of witches is called a Coven." She did, however, roll her eyes.

"I mean like. You could grab a witch's hat and decorate it with stars to be a fancy witch or you could get a crown and be a princess, or yes you could grab that and go with the night sky theme." She will smile happy to talk about this stuff she loves clothing so much.

She glances from the hat, to any crowns, to the metal celestial hair pieces and gravitated towards the latter. "I do like these quite a bit. Could always grab a hat for the big reveal and wear these under, once the party unwinds a little." Shrugging a shoulder. "Which do you see that you like? Costumes, I mean."

Lavender has been texting with Grace about costumes. "I think we've settled on a witch and a black cat." She is going to say with a large smile. "I would go for a big entrance if I were you. Are you going to contact Ambrose about costumes?"

"Okay, he's still game but we both still want out mutual costumes to be a surprise. I'm going to go with the celestial hair pieces. I'm going to go try it on. What have you seen that you like?"
