Lavender is sat on a blanket outside under the apple tree. She has some books and a tea pot she is going to pull one of the books out. "So Merlin. I hope you are well." She says to the apple tea. "Do the students talk to you often I wonder." She will settle back and sip the tea. "I would offer you some but I don't think you can drink. I feel bad that you're trapped. I would say I'm trapped too but in a different way, I think you might have it worse."

Grace hesitates a long moment before approaching the girl talking to the tree slowly, her voice soft and a little hesitant "Uhm.. excuse me... am i interrupting something?"
She stands at a small difference, ready to back away if her presence is unnwanted

"Oh no. I am just talking to Merlin. Would you like some tea? I'm Lavender." She says with a grin and goes to pour some tea for Grace.

"Nice to meet you Lavender, I'm Grace.. do you really believe the mythical Merlin is trapped in this exact tree?" her tone is one of curiosity, not one of derision or mockery. She sits down carefully on the blanket "I would love some tea, thank you"

"Well that's what the teachers say is believed to be going on, so what's the harm in talking to him right?" She is going to ask giving a giggle. She will also pour Grace a cup of tea and offer her some cookies. "How are you enjoying the school?"

She gives a little smile "You'd think after 1500 years of magi someone would have ability to get him out..." sipping her tea slowly before she answers "It's quite an adjustment, but most of the people so far have been pretty nice so it's been pretty good. How about you?"

"Maybe, I mean Merlin was pretty powerful so the person who put him in there would have been as well." She is going to nod. "My room is great. I really like it. Everyone here is really nice and very nice about me being a werewolf."

Grace giggles a little bit at that "Yeah.. but the odds are with that many magi coming in and out.... that one would have a power specifically to free mages from trees or something like that" giving a playful little smirk to show she's mostly just having a little fun. When Lavender mentions she's a werewolf she hesitates just a moment "Well I guess the school wouldn't have you here if it wasn't perfectly safe, so there's no reason to worry about it, right"

She is going to giggle before getting serious and somber. "Yeah don't worry I have been treated. I just won;t be around during any full moons." She says fiddling with her hands a little. "No reason to worry, House Tremere is sponsoring me and they deal with these things all the time."

"Yeah. It changed everything about my life. It's okay though I'm not going to let it stop me. Victoria and Paige were talking about having a tea party. Doesn't that sound lovely? Oh, I want to go and check out the tea rooms sometime. I think they would be lovely." She says excitedly. "I love to get all dressed up and have tea there is just something so nice about all the ritual."

"You mean like a big high tea? or more like japanese tea ceremony... which i guess is ever more ritual but really different?" She's trying to think who Victoria and Paige are, but she isn't too sure if she's met either of them beyond classes yet
